For the recruiting of survey participants on websites the e.boss sampling module can be configured for different sampling methods according to the specific requirements:

Realtime sampling
Aftersession sampling
In addition to the possibilities of the common nth method, e.boss can also draw samples from all identified users. By resubmitting the invitation ad to the identified members of the sample the response rate, and hence the quality of the results, can be increased significantly: in the WebStA* cooperation project (together with TNS emnid) the e.boss system has achieved a net response rate of 12.4% of the sample on www.autohaus.de. By way of comparison: the nth method typically yields a response rate of 0.5 to 1.5%.
