Only if the quality of the target group surveyed is right, will the quality of the results of a study also be right. However, in recent years we have increasingly noticed that the response rate of HCPs (healthcare professionals) and thus also the study quality in terms of the sample has continued to decline – not to mention the possibility of interviewing target doctors. In order to be able to meet our very high standards again, we have therefore started to build up our own HCP panel since 2019.
The most important aspect of our panel is the hand-picked recruitment done by our own team of specialists. By taking our doctors seriously as partners/customers and also considering ourselves as a service provider for the doctor, we succeed in raising response rates very significantly, thus shortening field times and surveying sufficiently large samples. A seemingly small and actually self-evident aspect, namely transferring fees to the doctors regularly and punctually, contributes significantly to this.
But professional questionnaire programming and interesting topics also help to bind the doctor. A personal and familiar, i.e. consistent and constant contact for the doctor in case of questions is a matter of course for us. When doctors know that they can rely on the service provider, they in turn reward this with regular and high-quality participation in studies.
